An eye for an eye

We started this blog and shortly afterwards felt that there was little for us to blog about.  Our business is not exactly social, we deliver jobs for people, so what do you blog about?

Along came Sarah Arrow from Essex Courier company, Arrow Light Haulage...and it all changed. Sarah is someone that our Head Honcho (@tweetsbyskeet) has known for some time on Twitter; Sarah has been explaining the ways and means of blogging and as it turned out she quite literally offered a hand.

In other words, she has taken our blog and given it a run for its money.  We said "fair play" and then wondered what we could do in return.

Compelled to offer something in return, we simply ran a job for her.  For us this is day-to-day work.  Sarah doesn't use branded email, but as it transpires she is just about to kick off her first email newsletter.

Arrow Light Haulage use Thunderbird for day-to-day email and we also offered to brand her daily communications as well.  We ran the job in the usual style and this is what we came up with.

What do you think?

We've been designing branded emails for years and we do tons all the time, but our business never comes from the social media scene, which means we can never blast out a blog.  To do so would require a rather difficult conversation with a customer about who/where/when and why.

So here you go, here is the first customer we've delivered for on social media.

Tell us what you think to our work...

The  email newsletter is a monthly narrative to be installed in to Aweber we understand, whereas the Email Letterhead is for installation on Firefox Thunderbird.

We custom code all email designs, in a light html format with associated graphics.  Installation is easy and simple whether it is for an online mail service on installed locally in to an email client.

It kind of feels good to be able to do a job from social media.  It gives us something to tweet about.  WWJS.  ROFL. LOL.  ;-)
