New Contact Cards

It's always a little un-nerving when you give someone a 'new' business card.

Normally a business card is a throw away item.  If someone likes you, they keep it, if not it goes either in the bin or with a stash of other cards that will never get used.  Today I gave out the first Business Card from Digital Stationery.  In 4 years, all sales have come direct from advertising, repeat business and referals from the customers.

Things have shifted.  Take a look below:

Networking has never been a requirement for Digital Stationery, but Digital Stationery has released a series of solutions ready for other design agencies.  This creates a requirement to "network" with others in the industry.

Today, the first card was given out and the feedback has started coming back.  Which is all positive and good.  Thankfully the card is very useful and allows people to write on it and make notes.  Thumbs up - no more paper..!!!

The most concerning part of the card was the reverse.   Interestingly, this card is purposely produced for versatility when networking.   It stands out, it's practical, it offers direct contact details on the front and you can write on the back.  A further card is required to give out that is more suited to the end customer.

This card was perfect for networking within the industry.  But we do need a slightly different approach to talk to the end customer.

Tell us what you think....
