#COFFEBREAK WEDNESDAY 25MAY

#COFFEBREAK WEDNESDAY 25MAY

This week #CoffeeBreak was hosted in Manchester courtesy of Rob Davies from Mobility Choices. Rob was a smashsing host and it was great to be navigating through Facebook meeting and greeting people with Rob being host and making the coffee. This week we had featured authors, a couple of marketers people who are involved in events marketing and lots of helpful discussion about how to's.

It all kicked off with a little image cutting as usual. One of the first people to comment on the #CoffeeBreak wall was Rob, our host. Really enjoy the input from Rob. It's great everyone can come together in different places each week for a coffee or two. We did a little work on one of Rob's good friends photo who must have been too busy to attend this lunch. The next little piece was Rebecca Jones. Rebecca asked us to make her less dark in the picture she had posted. We swapped the black for navy, bringing the image down a few tones.

Conversation and coffee flowing as usual and a little discussion about the new EU laws coming in to play about Websites & Cookies that website owners need to be aware of. As always, the conversation over coffee was light hearted taking us off on a discussion about the West Coast of Wales.

We had some friend chipping in to discuss how Facebook in different ways. A few people shared their blogs; we had a discussion around the uses and design of Facebook and people were having a good time making friends and meeting each other. Since Rob is such a nice guy and we seemed to have a little spare time towards the end of the #coffeebreak, we revamped his Sidebar for him. Mobility Choices fan page now has a new custom done sidebar by me :-)

If we can come together each week, share a little knowhow, make friends, help each other along by sharing ideas... what more could you possibly want from a #coffeebreak?

It's quite amazing what you can do over a coffeebreak. One of our new #CoffeeBreaker's and good friend of Rob's came. Our task: cut out the background, remove the shed. We really loved the shed in the background but sadly it had to go..! The result was a nice clean image for a profile picture and also perfect for future editing onto different background.

Thank you all for coming and making #CoffeeBreak the ultimate in low-key events.
