Windows 7 Professional File Permissions
This blog explains how to change the file permissions for Windows 7 Professional. When trying to save files to the file system, the new operating system returns a message saying something to the effect of "file name is invalid" when trying to save files to the computer. In order to override this, Helen at Roofing Supplies recommends:
- Go into your Control Panel
- System & Security > Action Centre
- Click "Change User Account Control Settings"
- That should open a menu on the left hand side
- On the vertical slider, move it to "Never Notify"
- Click "OK"
- Then restart for changes to take effect
